The ¡°Beijing-Tianjin Corridor¡± attracts environmental protection industries to settle down
Xinhua Beijing, November 6 (reporter Lu Qiuping Cao Guo factory) mentioned plastics, people tend to think of "chemical products", "white pollution" and other words. However, in Langfang, Hebei Province, just 40 kilometers from the center of Beijing, a large high-tech environment-friendly plastic pipe production base is changing people's minds.
Located in Langfang's emerging Industry Demonstration Zone, Hebei Quanen High-tech Pipe Co., LTD is the first factory set up by the Us-Based JMEagle Group on the Chinese mainland, with a total investment of 440 million US dollars. The environment-friendly plastic pipes produced by the company have a service life of more than 100 years, which can reduce the problems of leakage and pollution in the process of water transmission.
Group chairman Wang Wenxiang said that the factory uses environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, "every drop of water is recycled with heat exchangers, and there is no waste at all". Wang Wenxiang is the son of Wang Yung-ching, the "god of management" in Taiwan.
In addition to reducing water pollution, the application of high-tech plastics can also effectively reduce the use of traditional steel materials and contribute to reducing air pollution, he said.
With the increasing attention of the Chinese government to environmental problems and the gradual enhancement of public awareness of environmental protection, more and more enterprises are involved in the environmental protection industry and engaged in the development of environmental protection products. According to the Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industry issued by The State Council this year, the output value of energy conservation and environmental protection industry will grow at an average annual rate of more than 15%, and the total output value will reach 4.5 trillion yuan by 2015, becoming a new pillar industry of the national economy.
Langfang city in Hebei province, located between Beijing and Tianjin, is known as the "corridor of Beijing and Tianjin". With the acceleration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration process, Langfang's role in connecting the capital has become increasingly prominent, and its need to develop environmental protection industry is more urgent than that of other regions.
At the Langfang environmental protection industry investment forum held in Beijing on the 6th, Langfang Mayor Feng Shaohui said that the current annual sales value of the city's environmental protection industry has reached 1.65 billion yuan, the annual profit of 474 million yuan, the products cover water treatment, air pollution control, noise and vibration control, solid waste disposal and other fields. More than 60 entrepreneurs from energy conservation and environmental protection enterprises, including Quanen, attended the symposium.
Feng Shaohui said: "I hope that more environmental protection industries will settle in Langfang and make contributions to the environmental protection cause of North China."
