¡°The Light of the Internet¡± Illuminates Wonderful Life

Unmanned driving experience cars that move calmly in the crowd, mice that can be controlled with eyes, virtual reality systems that can not only see but also touch and smell... This is the scene of the "Light of Internet" Expo of the 6th World Internet Conference. A series of high-techs have lifted the curtain on a corner of the intelligent future life.

The "Light of Internet" Expo is one of the highlights of the World Internet Conference every year. In front of the booths of more than 600 Chinese and foreign Internet companies, curious audiences and entrepreneurs looking for opportunities are crowded. What kind of future does "Light of Internet" let them see?

High-tech is dazzling

Virtual reality, artificial intelligence, unmanned driving...a series of high-techs are dazzling.

At the Alibaba booth, many visitors whispered to a screen: "Magic mirror, magic mirror, who is the most beautiful person in the world?" This is the AI magic mirror displayed by Alibaba Group. It combines AI emotional perception and analysis technology to interact with visitors in emotional diagnosis. It can not only recognize the emotions of the audience and conduct dialogues, but also improvise atmosphere music according to the mood of the audience. Qiao Guanru, the project leader, said that through deep learning of human facial expressions, this technology has an expression recognition rate of 84%. "We want to tell everyone through the AI Magic Mirror that current technology not only has the functions of knowing who you are and verifying personal identity, but also can read your expression and experience your emotions, which will create unlimited possibilities in the application level."

At the National Cultural Heritage Administration booth, the Liangzhu Civilization Theme Exhibition is being held. The audience stood on the treadmill, raised their hands, and the big screen in front of them began to enter the state - suddenly, the scene of the Liangzhu ancient city 5,000 years ago was presented to many visitors. Just click or wave your arms in the air, and you can "travel" to Liangzhu 5,000 years ago, and swim in rivers, rice fields, palaces... This set of Liangzhu civilization immersive experience devices uses somatosensory interaction, AR and other technologies. The interactive experience is realized by the motion capture camera in front of the audience, the image acquisition camera in the back and the treadmill on the ground. You can experience 5 scenes of restoration of the landforms and life in those years, and another 5 scenes of Liangzhu culture in the form of museums, making the heritage on the earth truly "alive".

In the crowd outside the venue, China Telecom's 5G driverless experience car is moving calmly. The driverless experience car senses and identifies the surrounding environment of the vehicle through on-board sensors and 5G high-speed networks, and analyzes and processes information such as vehicle location, traffic signals and obstacles in real time at high speed, thereby achieving the road safety and reliability of driverless driving. On-site staff told the Economic Daily reporter that this technology will also be used in different scenarios such as airports and stadiums in the future.

Wu Lin, a local audience in Wuzhen, had just experienced the 6-axis (6-dimensional) universal somatosensory virtual reality chair displayed for the first time by CITIC Group, and still had a smile on his face: "Internet technology is amazing! This expo is full of "technological style", and new technologies are getting closer and closer to life."

People's livelihood applications are blooming

"Open your eyes, aim at the machine, and don't shake..." This is not a vision test, but visitors are experiencing the "Tencent Miying" fundus disease screening AI system at the "Light of Internet" Expo. After the visitors who are experiencing it take fundus photos, the "Tencent Miying" AI fundus engine will quickly carry out intelligent analysis and output evaluation reports. After the doctor reviews it, the disease screening can be completed, greatly improving the efficiency of diagnosis. "This system is being clinically tested in our hospital." Wei Haifeng, an ophthalmologist at Tongxiang People's Hospital, told reporters on the spot, "Artificial intelligence is quite accurate, including a small amount of fundus bleeding and tiny macular tears. This is a good assistant for physical examination institutions and grassroots hospitals."

At this year's "Light of the Internet" Expo, innovative services closely related to people's livelihood, such as medical care, education, and urban life, have become a highlight.

"100% affinity, 75% interaction, and 10% smiles..." At the Xueersi booth, the reporter personally experienced the "AI teacher monitoring system". In a green screen room, there are two screens in front of him with a series of jumping data on them, which can evaluate the teacher's teaching situation in real time and give prompts. "Online teaching is different from offline teaching. There are no students in front of the teacher, and it was difficult to get real-time feedback in the past. Now with the help of artificial intelligence, the real-time data of online classes can be structured and visualized, which will help improve the quality of teaching." Cui Zongyao, a staff member at the Xueersi booth, told reporters that the "AI teacher monitoring system" has "two magic weapons": one is voice recognition technology, which can recognize the teacher's perceptible dimensions such as speech speed and volume in real time, depict fluency, teaching focus, etc., so that the teacher can speak more clearly; the second is expression recognition technology, which can detect and analyze the teacher's expressions and gestures during the teaching process in real time to make the interaction more effective.

At the "Smart City" booth of Foxconn Industrial Internet Co., Ltd., Jian Zhikang, general manager of the company's Internet of Things project, is introducing the "Jingzhi Guangzhong Integrated Management System" to a manufacturer who came to consult. "Our system has realized the function of intelligent garbage classification in Shanghai, and ranked each community to urge the solid progress of garbage classification." Jian Zhikang introduced that in addition to garbage classification, this project can also monitor irregular behaviors such as cross-door business and stacking of objects in the corridor, and can make applications such as smart unmanned carports and fire alarm systems including access control systems.

Industry integration points to the future

Luo Rui, who is engaged in the smart warehousing industry, has come to Wuzhen to visit the "Light of the Internet" Expo for the third time. This time, he wanted to know whether there are Internet technologies and solutions that can help small and medium-sized enterprises solve logistics and warehousing problems. "I feel that more manufacturers are participating in smart city and industrial Internet projects this year, and the integration of the Internet and traditional industries is getting deeper and deeper."

Luo Rui's feelings reflect another important direction of this "Light of the Internet" - the booming rise of industrial Internet. At the booth of Hangzhou Shenhao Technology Co., Ltd., a small inspection robot is sliding nimbly along the hanging rail. Ding Zhaodong, regional manager of Shenhao Technology, introduced: "This is a robot specially used in power distribution stations and cable tunnels. It has "eyes". The camera and infrared probe can automatically identify the readings on the dial and test the temperature of the equipment; it also has "ears" that can monitor the sound of equipment operation in real time. It can not only replace the tedious work of manual inspection, but also prompt equipment failure at any time without interruption 24 hours a day."

Visitors to the Tsinghua Unigroup Industrial Internet booth are endless. They are very interested in the cross-industry and cross-field basic common platform it displays. "This platform is a brand-new industrial Internet display solution, which brings together the advantages of Tsinghua Unigroup's "from chip to cloud" full industrial chain and has independent intellectual property rights." Yang Pan, an on-site staff member, introduced that "now "enterprises go to the cloud" and "governments go to the cloud" have become the general trend. This Internet industrial platform can provide industrial cloud services and intelligent solutions to enterprises in traditional industries such as steel, injection molding, sheet metal, and non-ferrous metals, enabling industrial cloud upgrades."

"Yubei District, Chongqing: The education industry is being attacked by vulnerability detection; Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province: People's livelihood services encounter remote authentication vulnerabilities in devices..." At the Qi'anxin booth, bright spots appeared one after another on a huge map. These are the departments and industries that are being attacked by cyber attacks. On-site staff introduced, "This is our modern digital city's endogenous security system, which is dedicated to serving the government affairs, transportation, finance, medical and other industries that are constantly "touching the Internet" to support the informatization and modernization of digital cities. With the continuous acceleration of online and offline integration, various key information infrastructures, business organizations, and terminal devices in the city are constantly generating data, and there is a continuous flow and sharing of data between data centers and application platforms, which also puts forward new requirements for network security."
