25 projects started in Xi'an High-tech Zone Silk Road Science City and 11 projects were put into production

On June 4, at the important time node of "three years to build an image" for the Silk Road Science City, Xi'an High-tech Zone held a concentrated start-up and completion and commissioning event for key projects in the second quarter of 2024. Through the start-up and commissioning of a number of high-quality projects, the industrial foundation is continuously consolidated, and the Silk Road Science City is promoted to be renewed from the inside out, turning the beautiful blueprint into a "wonderful map".

25 projects started in a concentrated manner, and new productivity empowered the Silk Road Science City
There were 25 projects started in the second quarter, with a total investment of about 24.2 billion yuan, involving advanced manufacturing, modern services, social undertakings and infrastructure. Among them, there were 12 advanced manufacturing projects with a total investment of 15.959 billion yuan, accounting for half of the number of projects started and the amount of investment, with significant "new productivity" characteristics.
The Xi'an Science and Technology Industrial Park Phase III and 5G Digital Factory and Science and Technology Innovation R&D Building Construction Project, invested and implemented by TBEA Xi'an Electric Technology Co., Ltd., will be based on the national "dual carbon" strategy, facing the era of new power systems, deeply integrating digitalization and intelligence, and promoting the development of power electronics high-end equipment manufacturing industry with new energy industry as the core in Xi'an High-tech Zone. After full production, it can achieve an annual output of 50GW photovoltaic inverters and 10GW energy storage PCS, and is expected to achieve an annual output value of 6 billion yuan.
The Klinsmann High-Performance Low-Carbon Material Production and R&D Base Project will mainly build production workshops for injection molding, degradable materials, ASA decorative films, nanocellulose and other products and materials. After completion, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 400 million yuan, which will further promote the integration of large, medium and small enterprises in the new energy and new materials industry chain in Xi'an High-tech Zone.
In addition, the newly started Borri Jixin Special Communication Chip R&D Headquarters will further enhance the R&D and production capabilities of special chips; the Information Perception and Energy Control Integrated Circuit Research Center and Innovation Demonstration Base Project will create a world-class key laboratory for microelectronics core technology and a high-level talent training base; the Future Information Technology Innovation Research Building Project implemented by Xidian University will achieve integrated development with the nearby National Engineering Research Center for Semiconductors, while giving full play to the advantages of the National Engineering Research Center in serving the industry, promoting the integration of industry, academia and research, and better serving national strategic needs.
In addition to focusing on new quality productivity, the projects started this time also include a number of modern service projects and infrastructure construction projects. Among them, Taikang Home Qinyuan Elderly Care Project will provide residents with activity space for "active elderly care" and "cultural elderly care", and will be equipped with a secondary rehabilitation hospital with about 200 medical beds; Urban Green Heart Agricultural Demonstration Zone, Xi'an Railway Intermediate Court Trial Court and other projects will further enrich and improve the urban functions of the Silk Road Science City and help build a new urban area integrating industry and city.
11 projects completed and put into production to promote the accelerated formation of the core area of the "dual centers"
There are 11 projects completed and put into production in Xi'an High-tech Zone this time, with a total investment of 18.041 billion yuan, involving optoelectronics, new energy, biomedicine, modern services and other fields. Among them, the hydrogen energy assembly project and the second phase of the third zone of the Xi'an R&D Center of ZTE have the remarkable characteristics of high technology, high growth and high added value, and are the new forces to promote the formation of the core area of the "dual centers".
The hydrogen energy assembly project invested and implemented by Xi'an Longi Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the research and development and production of water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment. It aims to build Longi Hydrogen Energy's administrative headquarters, research and development headquarters and assembly production workshop. After the project is completed, it is expected to achieve an annual revenue of 1.4 billion yuan, which will accelerate the breakthrough of core technologies in various fields of hydrogen energy and industrial applications, and effectively promote the rapid development of Xi'an's hydrogen energy industry.
The medical repair dressing and high-end medical device industrialization project will realize the large-scale production of human-like collagen series medical devices, which can meet the market demand of various industries in China for human-like collagen series medical devices, and at the same time promote the leap of China's polymer biomaterials industry, promote the rapid development of China's biogenetic technology, and enhance China's comprehensive research capabilities in biological hospital materials.
At the same time, nine industrial projects, including the Phase III Project of the Second Zone of ZTE Xi'an R&D Center and the Tiancheng Eucommia Leaf Resource Comprehensive Development and Construction Project, have a total investment of 16.461 billion yuan. After reaching full production, they will achieve an annual output value of 16 billion yuan and create 15,000 new jobs, further strengthening the industrial support for the high-quality development of the Silk Road Science City.
The Phase III project of ZTE Xi'an R&D Center Zone II will become the chip design and 5G core R&D base of ZTE Xi'an R&D Center; the Jinbo Technology High-end Electrical Connectors and Microwave Devices Manufacturing Base Project will achieve an annual output of 5 million RF coaxial connectors, 2 million cable assemblies, and 1 million microwave devices, with an estimated annual output value of 510 million yuan and employment of more than 800 people; the Tiancheng Eucommia Leaf Resource Comprehensive Development and Construction Project includes multiple production lines such as Eucommia health drinks, Eucommia concentrated slurry, Eucommia extract powder, and Eucommia coffee solid drinks, with an estimated annual output value of 1 billion yuan and employment of more than 2,000 people.
In addition, the two headquarters projects completed this time will further promote the rise of the headquarters economy of the Silk Road Science City. Among them, the China Construction Xinjiang Construction Engineering Headquarters Building Project is the first corporate headquarters in the Central Innovation Zone of the Silk Road Science City. It will continue to attract the group and its subsidiaries and shareholding companies to settle in, becoming an important force in enhancing the city's core competitiveness.
