China news network October 23, according to Japan's Kyodo news, 23, an American man was arrested by the Japanese Tokyo police, because the man suspected of arson.

Japan Tokyo police Department said that the American man entered Japan with his family on October 9 for tourism, staying in a hotel in the central district of Tokyo, and was scheduled to return to the United States on October 23.

The man is accused of setting fire to a plastic box at the entrance of an apartment building at around 3 am local time on October 21, causing the box to burn down. Although he said he "didn't remember doing it", the crime was caught on surveillance video and police arrested him.

Police are aware of six other cases of arson around the scene on the same day and are investigating whether they are linked.
