Dragonboa Baililian will showcase TiO2 pigments for high-performance plastics at K2019

Lomon Billions will be promoting its high-performance titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigments for plastics at the K 2019 show in Dusseldorf, Germany. It is the first time the Chinese company has its own booth at the show.

Dragon Python Baililian TiO2 pigment is a global brand, recognized and used by leading plastics producers worldwide.

According to the company's best-selling TiO2 masterbatch pigment is the LOMON LR-108 pigment produced by the sulfate process, which is designed for masterbatch and composite applications.

Meanwhile, BILLIONS of BL-688 pigment, also made from the sulfate process, is a customer favorite for exterior plastics, including profiles and piping applications.

The company's latest innovation in plastic TiO2 pigments is the BILLIONS BL-886 pigment, made from the chloride process. It is particularly suitable for polyolefin masterbatches, high temperature extruded coatings, cast films and engineering plastics.

The company has 30 years of experience in TiO2 pigment production, with an annual production capacity of about 1 million tons. Last year, the company announced an investment of 1.8 billion yuan to build an additional 200,000 tons of chloride capacity at its chlorinated titanium dioxide pigment production base in Jiaozuo, with ambitions to further expand chloride capacity.

Two new chloride pigment production lines have been built in Jiaozuo. The first of the two new lines has already started commercial production, and the second line will be fully operational by the end of this year, with commercial production expected in the first half of 2020.

In June this year, Dragon Python Baililian Group acquired China's Yunnan Xinli plant to provide additional titanium dioxide chloride pigment manufacturing capacity.
