How to identify inferior toys experts: look at the color, thickness and smell

When parents buy toys for their children, they are most concerned about the quality and safety of toys. Some plastic toys produced with poor quality plastics and scraps are harmful to children's health. Industry insiders advise that the identification of inferior plastic toys depends on color, thickness and smell.
Look at the color of toys: High-quality plastic toys are usually made of PVC, PP, PE and other plastic raw materials, very shiny. And many poor quality toys are made of "two materials" (that is, waste plastic products are recycled and reprocessed), and the color becomes worse after reprocessing.
Look at the thickness of the toy: The finished plastic toy or part is a one-time injection molding, if the inner wall of the injection molding toy is too thin, it is easy to break when children play. Plastic parts broken into small pieces, sharp edges and corners, will pose a danger to children.
Smell the smell of toys: If the plastic children's toys have a pungent smell, then the possibility of containing harmful substances is relatively large, such as phthalate plasticizers and other harmful substances. You can wash and sun the toy first, try to volatilize the taste of plastic, and reduce the peeling pigment and the heavy metal content.
When buying toys, it is best to try, feel the corners to see if they are sharp, shake the parts are firm, whether there are small parts, pull the toy with a rope to see if the length is appropriate. When choosing a sound toy, try to see whether the sound is too large, and when choosing a toy that will glow, see whether the light source is dazzling, in order to prevent harm to children's hearing and vision.
