Implementation Opinions on Further Strengthening Plastic Pollution Control
Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the provincial Department of Ecology and Environment issued the "Implementation Opinions on Further Strengthening the control of plastic pollution", making it clear that some areas and places in Guangzhou and Shenzhen should take the lead in banning non-degradable plastic bags. The guidelines will come into effect on Sept 1 and will be valid for five years.
