On November 30, according to the data of the National Development and Reform Commission, in the first three quarters, the added value of the chemical industry increased by 10.8% year-on-year, and the growth rate increased by 9.5 percentage points year-on-year.

Among the main products, ethylene output was 20.89 million tons, up 23.1 percent year-on-year. The output of primary form plastics was 81.72 million tons, an increase of 8.1%; Synthetic rubber output was 5.9 million tons, up 1.2 percent; And 46.05 million tons of synthetic fibers, up 13.5 percent. Caustic soda output was 28.51 million tons, up 6.3 percent; 21.82 million tons of soda ash, up by 3.1 percent; Calcium carbide output was 21.54 million tons, up 5.3 percent. The output of chemical fertilizers was 41.06 million tons, up by 1.2 percent, of which nitrogen fertilizer was up by 2.6 percent, phosphate fertilizer down by 1.7 percent and potassium fertilizer down by 1.6 percent; And 1.89 million tons of pesticides, an increase of 11 percent. The output of rubber tire outer tires was 664.87 million tons, up 16.4 percent.

The price of most of the chemical products under key monitoring rose last month. In September, the average price of caustic soda (caustic soda tablets) was 3,250 yuan/ton, up 9.1% from the previous month and 70.2% year-on-year; Soda ash (heavy ash) was 2,570 yuan/ton, up 14.7 percent from the previous month and 36.7 percent year on year. Urea 2,640 yuan/ton, down 2.6 percent from the previous month and up 55.3 percent year on year; And domestic diammonium phosphate 3,600 yuan/ton, up 1.1% from the previous month, up 59.3% year on year. Calcium carbide was 5,570 yuan/ton, up 5.7 percent from the previous month and 104 percent year on year.
