For example, Thai fragrant rice, Chi Chi cherries, Australian steak, American lobster and so on. Of course, there is also the young mothers who buy foreign milk powder overseas!

I have taken a closer look. Although the prices of these foreign products are generally high, they are still very popular. This partly reflects the growing purchasing power of Chinese consumers and the growing demand for safe and high-quality agricultural products.

On the other hand, the shelves of foreigners have also begun to be filled with agricultural products from China, such as vegetables, temperate fruits, dried fruits, tea, condiments and so on. There is a saying in the world, called "the world looks at China's jujube", which means that Chinese jujube has been sold overseas. In addition, in recent years, as the value of traditional Chinese medicine has been widely recognized by the international community, the export of Chinese herbal medicines has become a significant trend, and even American farmers have hired Chinese farmers to plant such herbal medicines as isatis root and Astragalus in a large area.

All these exchanges, in fact, are the result of trade globalization.

So in the "Belt and Road" this huge circle of friends, what are the characteristics of the agricultural development of various countries? For example, some countries, such as Russia and Kazakhstan, have relatively good land resources and small population, but their agricultural scientific research is not good. Some countries have good land, but relatively backward economy and lack of capital development, such as Pakistan and Vietnam; There are also some countries with high scientific research level, but the land is narrow and the population is dense, and the agricultural products are highly dependent on the outside world, such as Japan and South Korea. All these different resource endowments are opportunities worth exploring.

Compared with South Asian countries, China's advantage lies in greenhouse vegetables. Because there are not enough vegetables to eat in the tropical regions, Chinese vegetables can meet the market demand of countries like Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. For example, our temperate fruits, such as apples and pears, are not produced in tropical areas, which is also our comparative advantage, while the advantage of South Asian countries lies in their tropical fruits, you see, the complementarity is very strong.

In addition, the corn in Southeast Asian countries is not enough for feed grain, while China's corn is precisely in oversupply, so for the export of feed grain, there is a lot of trade space between the two sides.

And for the Central Asian region, our advantages are more obvious, our plastic greenhouses and vegetable planting technology is very advanced for them. In the past, their vegetables were imported from Europe, and now we transport the facilities of agricultural cultivation technology for him, they can get fresh vegetables, and in the ground, cheap and fresh, we both benefit the people of Central Asia, and earn technology export fees and training fees, a fish and two to eat, how good!

Look at our neighbors Japan and South Korea, due to the lack of arable land, agricultural products are scarce, what products are expensive, although there is a certain trade tariff barriers, but with further negotiations and consultations, ice breaking is only a matter of time!
