Japanese elementary school student patents automatic trash bin

International online feature: According to Japan's "Sankei News" reported on October 14, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, a 12-year-old sixth-grade primary school girls, the use of magnetic principle invented a can automatically classify iron cans and aluminum cans trash, and obtained a patent. People in the patent industry said that it is very rare for primary school students to obtain patents.

The primary school student, Asuka Kamiya, designed a 90-centimeter-high cuboid bin made of plastic sheets. Inside, there are compartments for iron cans and aluminum cans.

The drop port of the garbage can is arranged on the upper part of the aluminum can recycling bucket. The aluminum can can fall directly into the recycling bucket, while the iron can is magnetically affected and falls into the other side of the recycling bucket. All the parts for the bin were purchased from grocery stores.
