Remove the plastic bag before putting vegetables into the refrigerator
When we come back from shopping, we habitually throw the plastic bag with the vegetables in it into the refrigerator, but this action may have a potential health hazard.
First of all, some plastic bags are not very breathable. If the humidity in the bag is too high and the oxygen content is too little, it will cause the fruits and vegetables to breathe without oxygen and produce a lot of alcohol. At the same time, it will also cause the growth of bacteria, greatly reducing the safety and nutritional value of fruits and vegetables. Secondly, colorful plastic bags belong to recycled plastic bags, do not rule out the possibility that the coloring agent used contains benzopyrene (a strong carcinogen), which may be transferred to food after contact with food. Third, if the production process is not passed, the plasticizer precipitates from the surface of the plastic bag, and the human body ingests it through contact with the food in the bag, which may also cause harm to the human body.
Do not use plastic bags, then how to do? The right thing to do is to use plastic wrap. The special process and raw materials of plastic wrap have good air permeability and preservation properties, and the high-quality plastic wrap will not have the pollution problem of small molecular monomers. When purchasing, should choose the outer packaging marked PE (polyethylene) material. The identification method is: look at the color, the whole volume color yellow for PVC material, white for PE material. Two hand rubbing, PE plastic wrap is generally poor in viscosity, easy to open after rubbing by hand, while PVC plastic wrap is better in viscosity, rubbing by hand is not easy to expand. If it is green leafy vegetables, you can spray water on the leaves, put it in the plastic wrap, the preservation layer is adjusted to 0 бу C ~ 8 бу C for storage, it is best not to exceed 3 days. Tomatoes, aubergines, peppers and other vegetables with tops can be sprinkled with a little water, wrapped in plastic wrap, placed directly in the refrigerator, or placed in a translucent plastic bag in the kitchen, in a ventilated place.
