Polyethylene coated steel pipe

Polyethylene coated steel pipe is a steel-plastic composite pipe made by coating the inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe with polyethylene plastic powder material through a special process. This steel pipe combines the antistatic, flame retardant and corrosion-resistant characteristics of polyethylene with the high strength of the steel pipe, showing the common characteristics of steel and plastic.

Characteristics

High pressure bearing capacity and good mechanical properties

Polyethylene coated steel pipe inherits the excellent mechanical properties of steel pipe, has high pressure bearing capacity and strong ability to resist external impact.

Strong chemical corrosion resistance

This type of steel pipe has excellent chemical corrosion resistance and is particularly suitable for environments containing corrosive substances such as sulfur, calcium, and magnesium, such as fluid transportation in coal mines. All pipe fittings are treated with internal and external plastic anti-corrosion, which significantly increases the service life of the entire pipeline system.

Strong coating adhesion

Through a special physical deep treatment process, the base material of the polyethylene coated steel pipe reaches the SA 2.5 standard, which ensures the quality of the coating and its adhesion far exceeds the national standard.

No nodules, no scaling, low fluid resistance

The coating on the inner and outer pipe surfaces is dense and smooth, and it is not easy to form dirt. Therefore, the friction coefficient and roughness are lower than those of ordinary steel pipes, showing higher economy and cost performance.

Antistatic and flame retardant

The polyethylene coated steel pipe uses a specially designed thermoplastic polyethylene powder coating, which makes its surface and interior have antistatic and flame retardant properties, which can meet the needs of flammable and explosive occasions such as mines.
