Carrying a plastic bag, she rushed to the front line of the fight against the epidemic and left the most beautiful back
CCTV news: (Reporter Zhang Qi correspondent Zhang Yang Liu Xinchen) On January 24, 2020, the New Year's Eve, Chen Linye went out to support Wuhan Hankou Hospital. Chen Linye is a nurse in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. She is also a member of the first medical team from Guangdong Province to support the epidemic prevention and control in Hubei. A red plastic bag packed with simple toiletries and a big coat were all she had to pack for her trip to the frontline.
On New Year's Eve, the hospital issued a notice to collect members of the Wuhan medical team to help, and Chen Linye signed up for the first time. As a doctor, Chen's father was very supportive of his daughter's support for the front line, but Chen's mother was unable to accept it for a while. After a long vacation home reunion, how can you say go, and still go to the epidemic area! Out of fear, Chen's mother refused to let her leave and even hid her suitcase.
"I'm a nurse, I should go!" In desperation, Chen Linye found a red plastic bag, packed toiletries and a big coat, and temporarily booked a high-speed train ticket, overnight from Jieyang Huilai County back to Guangzhou to meet the support team. At the high-speed train station, she left the most beautiful back of her head carrying a red plastic bag to the front line of the fight against the epidemic.

Once arrived in Wuhan, Chen Linye was busy settling the team and participating in training. The temperature in Wuhan was only 3 degrees Celsius, which made Chen Linye, who had lived in Guangdong Province since childhood, not very accustomed to it. Coupled with the acclimation and high-intensity work, Chen Linye began to have stomach pain and diarrhea on the second night of his arrival in Wuhan. She opened the suitcase that her comrades bought for her temporarily and took out the warm baby prepared by her comrades. She suddenly felt a lot more comfortable both physically and mentally. In the short break, she saw the wechat circle of friends sent by her brother "send my sister this angel in white to Wuhan frontline support, really really really really must go home safely ah", Chen Linye could not help but shed tears.
"My mother has understood me, sent a lot of messages on wechat, let me take good care of myself. I am the second generation of doctors, my father is a doctor in Jieyang County, he is also busy in the county to prevent the epidemic work, I can not choose to be a deserter at home!"
Since coming to Wuhan, Chen Linye has been busy in the isolation ward of Hankou Hospital, and has become an "all-round nurse". Assisting patients with life nursing is her daily basic work, helping patients to take the initiative to shake the head of the bed when eating, giving patients with shortness of breath, hypoxia, breathing difficulties semi-sitting position, nursing education for patients while doing nursing treatment, told them to wear masks, drink more water, wash hands frequently, ensure adequate sleep, and strive to educate each patient in place.
There was a late night rounds, Chen Linye found a patient delayed to fall asleep. After inquiry that there is a patient in the ward died, resulting in the patient afraid, helpless, has been difficult to fall asleep. After counseling him, Chen Linye silently memorized his bed number and went to see him every once in a while to provide him with help while closely observing his vital signs. The next day, the patient's family members made a deep bow to her when they learned about it. At that moment, she felt that all her efforts had been worth it.
In order to make the patients have a more comfortable environment, after the completion of a round of nursing work, she would take time to clean the isolation ward of the hospital. She rolled up her sleeves to soak chlorinated disinfectant tablets and clean every corner of the ward. Wearing multiple layers of protective clothing and mopping the floor with heavy goggles, she was soon dripping with sweat. Although the night in Wuhan is very cold, her heart is warm, Chen Linye said: "In order for patients to recover as soon as possible and have a comfortable environment, we must take the best care to protect the city and protect tens of millions of homes."
