"Over the past two years, the spirit of the poor people in Guyuan who are not satisfied with poverty has been inspiring me." This is Guyuan Municipal Committee standing Committee, vice mayor Chen Xing said the first words when interviewed by reporters.

In September 2014, Chen Xing took a temporary post in Guyuan as the leader of the ninth batch of poverty alleviation work teams in Fujian Province. Within one week, he traveled to four counties and one district in Guyuan; Within two months, he completed a survey of 62 townships. In the autumn of 2014, when the school started, Chen Xing went to Xiji County to investigate the urban and rural areas, and walked into a family at random. Chen Xing asked, "It is indeed difficult, but you can still overcome it by gritting your teeth, and you can't let poverty pass to your children's generation." The single mother's subtle tone was strong. In an instant, Chen Xing was infected by the spirit of not being poor. He took out all the money he had and gave it to her. "The government will definitely help people like you who are poor and ambitious." Later, under the coordination of Chen Xing, the loving people of Fujian Province subsidized the school expenses of the child.

Chen Xing saw from the poor people in Guyuan City the gold quality of not being poor, saw the hope of getting rid of poverty and becoming rich, and also inspired his passion for doing things.

Through in-depth research, Chen Xing put forward the idea of implementing six major projects of aiding the construction of infrastructure in poor villages, helping characteristic industries, improving people's livelihood, intellectual assistance, investment promotion and cultural tourism. In the past two years, he led 21 members of the aid team to help build 185 social undertakings, and won 135.81 million yuan of various help funds, completing the task of winning 100 million yuan of help funds proposed by the task force two years in advance. These funds are mainly used for infrastructure construction in poor villages, assistance in characteristic industries, education and culture, medical and health care, community construction and other practical livelihood issues.

Chen Xing and other team members gave full play to the advantages of contacts, actively invited 91 batches of entrepreneurs from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Fujian, Guangdong and other places to visit Ning, and signed 79 investment projects with a total investment of 21.537 billion yuan. Longde County new coordinate clothing company signed less than half a year to form a production capacity, to undertake a number of brand clothing processing, attracting more than 300 local employment. Pengyang County signed a contract with Zhangzhou merchants to introduce the projects of real stone paint coating factory, e-commerce pioneer park and plastic packaging industrial park; Yuanzhou District signed Yuanli garment factory and oil peony project with Fujian merchants, filling the gap of no large-scale Fujian business enterprises in Pengyang County and Yuanzhou District.
