In documents published by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DefrA), ministers are reported to admit that the 12 million tonnes of rubbish Britain sends abroad each year is largely out of their control and is not recycled in the way the British public believe it to be. Instead, it is sent to countries like China, India and Indonesia in Asia, where much of it goes straight to landfill, where it is polluting the environment in developing Asian countries.

As we all know, Britain is a country that attaches great importance to environmental protection. They have even succeeded in removing London from its "fog city" hat. People in Britain are taught that they have to sort their rubbish painstakingly and carefully for recycling, which is fixed by law in Britain. But what about the reality? Because of the increasing reliance on contractors to dispose of this sorted waste, contractors receive a high subsidy from the British government (35 pounds per ton), but on the other hand, the waste is loaded into containers and shipped to China and other Asian countries as "export goods", and the Chinese importers pay them a payment, and so on. On average, they can net more than 50,000 RMB per ton of garbage!

On the one hand, they protect their own environment, the blue sky and white clouds, the mountains and beautiful waters; On the one hand, eat at both ends, make a lot of silver. How could such a lucrative business not attract people? As a result, the industrial chain grew like crazy. According to British journalists, the industry has at least doubled in size in the past decade. As for China, the growth rate is even more alarming. Statistics show that when Prime Minister Tony Blair came to power in 1997, the amount of foreign waste sent by Britain to China was only 12,000 tons, but in 2005, it soared to 1.9 million tons, a 158-fold increase. Now, the scale of 12 million tons per year, although not all of it is sent to China, But it can also be imagined that the 1.9 million tons of that year has increased several times!

This is true of the United Kingdom, and the rest of the developed world. Eighty percent of the e-waste generated in the United States goes to China, India and Pakistan. In 1993, seven South Korean companies shipped 1,228 tons of sewage, corrosive liquid and other chemical waste to Nanjing in the name of "other fuel oil"; in 1995, Japan shipped 46 tons of waste agricultural membrane to Shanghai in the name of recycled plastics; in the same year, there were 678 tons of "recycled plastics" from Germany. All food bags, lunch boxes, beverage bottles and the like. Considering that these were cases many years ago, I believe that driven by excessive profits, this kind of lucrative business will become more rampant.

In fact, the "fate" between Chinese people and foreign garbage can be said to be a long time ago. From a batch of old clothes, to the so-called "hit CD", there are a large number of disassembled computers, all kinds of accessories, from CPU to mouse everything, few coastal cities have not seen these foreign garbage. This is only the part that flows into the market, and the real big heads are simply buried in the ground, or set on fire, or even more bloody, just find a place where no one is so dumped. The ones that are buried pollute the groundwater, the ones that are burned pollute the air, and the ones that are dumped pollute everything. Driven by illegal interests, some people are willing to do anything without a son or grandson.

In the past, the sources of foreign garbage would rarely admit it openly. Now things have changed, for example in Britain, where journalists, for all intents and purposes, have finally revealed some of the truth, showing a certain tendency towards "consciences". However, it takes two to tango. Why does foreign garbage enter China in large quantities? Without China's thieves, foreign ghosts cannot be attracted. Those unconscionable "importers", in order to make a few stinking dollars, are able to hand over money to foreigners and destroy their homes.
