In response to a previous media report that more than 17,000 cans of fake Abbott milk powder flowed to seven provinces, Ma Chunliang, head of the Food Safety Office of The State Council and director of the second food supervision department of the State Food and Drug Administration, stressed today that the current flow of fake milk powder only involves Zhengzhou in Henan province, Hefei in Anhui province, Suqian in Jiangsu province and Wuhan in Hubei province.
Ma Chunliang said that after the comprehensive supervision of the inspection team, and from the public security organs investigation, interrogation of the suspect's account, the whole case involves a total of 8 provinces: the production of Bein cans in Shandong Yanzhou, Abbott's plastic packaging production enterprises in Dongguan, Guangdong, Abbott's label printing workshop in Taizhou, Zhejiang, Bottling Abbott and Beingmei dens in Shandong Yanzhou and Hunan Changsha, which is the packaging label production and filling dens, involving these four provinces.
