By 2014, exports of all types of shoes made in Guangzhou reached $1.651 billion, up 21.3 percent year on year.
The number of manufactured products exported from Guangzhou is very large. Statistics show that in 2013, Guangzhou exported 14.59 million watches, 6,274 ships, 215,549 tons of plastic products and 2.05 million bicycles.
Data show that in 2013 Guangzhou exported live pigs, live poultry all exported to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions of China, seafood mainly exported to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions of China, some sold to Japan, Malaysia and other countries and regions.
And "Made in Guangzhou" is sold all over the world. Taking shoes as an example, 239.91 million pairs of shoes exported in 2013 were sold to the world, of which Asia led with 87.97 million pairs, followed by North America and Europe second and third.
