CCTV news (News broadcast) : Jiangxi has taken the problem as the guide, carried out special actions for pollution prevention and control, cracked down on scattered and polluting enterprises, and improved the supervision mechanism for environmental protection.

The foam recycling company, located in the Xinjian district of Nanchang, was shut down in December last year because it did not have environmental assessment procedures, and the factory secretly resumed production a week ago, which was reported.

Environmental law enforcement officers once again took compulsory measures against the company after discovering its illegal activities. Since last year, Jiangxi has suspended production of more than 600 enterprises that failed to meet environmental protection standards, set up an ecological and environmental Protection committee, and carried out 30 special actions on pollution prevention and control. 25 working groups have identified more than 2,600 problems across the country.

Strict accountability for environmental protection has resulted in continuous improvement of Jiangxi's ecological environment. After Xianshi Lake in Nanchang was listed and supervised by the environmental protection department, it took six months to restore the water ecosystem by using biotechnology, turning the formerly black and smelly water into a park with clear water.

At present, while eliminating backward production capacity, Jiangxi is also developing low-carbon and environmental protection emerging industries. The industries represented by electronic information, optoelectronic manufacturing and biomedicine are rising.
