The 300,000 tons/year polypropylene project constructed by Guangxi Hongyi New Material Co., Ltd. is an important part of Huayi Qinzhou base industry, and the construction progress of the project has attracted much attention. Recently, it is about to usher in the mid-term completion of the project, which is the good news of this major construction milestone. At present, the construction of the complex building, control room, extruded granulation workshop, main installation area and other main parts of the project has been completed, and the substation has been equipped with the conditions for power generation. At the same time, the main body of the project is working hard to install the remaining equipment, internal decoration and other work, is expected to be put into operation in November this year.

It is understood that Guangxi Hongyi New Materials Co., Ltd. is a joint venture of Zhejiang Hongji Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Huayi New Materials Co., LTD. It is a supporting project of Guangxi Huayi Qinzhou Chemical new materials integration base, which is in line with national industrial policies and local industrial development positioning. It plays a positive role in extending the industrial chain and doing a good job in the "six guarantees" and "six stability".

The project adopts China's independent innovation and improved polypropylene SPG technology (polypropylene liquid phase bulk polymerization plus horizontal kettle gas phase polymerization combination process), mainly develops a number of grades of polypropylene PP powder products, products are widely used in weaving, food packaging and non-woven PPR pipes and other fields. The market covers the whole country and relies on the port advantages of Qinzhou Port area to radiate South China, Central China and Southeast Asian countries and regions.

After the project is completed and put into operation, it will form a strong joint force with other sub-projects of Guangxi Huayi Qinzhou Base, and accelerate the development of green petrochemical industry in Qinzhou Port area of Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone. It will lay a solid foundation for Qinzhou Port area to build a world-class green petrochemical industry base and a trillion-level green new material industry cluster.
