It is reported that the "14th Five-Year Plan" plastic pollution control work will focus on the promotion of plastic replacement products, strengthening the standardized recycling and recycling of plastic waste, and improving the level of harmless disposal of plastic waste.
Among them, in terms of improving the level of harmless disposal of plastic waste, comprehensively promote the construction of China's waste incineration facilities, in principle, prefecture-level and above cities and counties with incineration capacity or construction conditions, no longer plan and build new native landfill facilities, and significantly reduce the amount of plastic waste directly landfill.
