Japanese and American experts have developed a film-shaped thermometer that can tell body temperature with just one stick

China news network on November 10, according to Japanese media reports, the Japanese and American scientific research team recently announced that it has successfully developed a film-like thermometer.

According to reports, the research team of the University of Tokyo in Japan and the University of Texas in the United States is published in the online edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on the 10th of this month. The statement said they had successfully developed a thin, flexible, and flexible film-like thermometer.

It is reported that the thermometer can be applied to the skin and the accurate temperature can be measured immediately. "By sticking it on the skin like a Band-aid, we can continuously and gently observe things like babies and wounds," said Takasho Setani, an electrical engineering professor at Toku University.

The research team made a loop that functions as a temperature sensor using a special resin on a 0.015mm thick plastic sheet. The resin expands slightly with body temperature when it touches the skin, and changes the electrical resistance of the sensing loop to convert the temperature.
