Ogilvy & Kay buys a maker of high-end masterbatches
Americhem Americhem Inc. today announced the acquisition of Prescient Color Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited (SCIL). Prescient, based in Pune, India, is a leading Indian manufacturer of high-end masterbatches for multi-sector applications, including synthetic fibers. Prescient has nearly 140 employees, including contract workers. The acquisition strengthens Ogilvy & Co. 's position in the global chemical fiber market and expands its market coverage in high-growth regions.
Prescient is a natural fit for Americhem and will help it serve and grow with its customers around the world.
