Two Dezhou Counties and Involved in Concealing Pollution Enterprises
Intensified supervision of air pollution prevention and control in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and surrounding areas shows that illegal production by "scattered and polluting" enterprises is still prominent. The Ministry of Environmental Protection recently announced that the inspection team of the Ministry of Environmental Protection has found 564 "scattered and dirty" enterprises outside the list and a number of "scattered and dirty" enterprise clusters that have not been reported. At the same time, it has found that two counties in Dezhou, Shandong Province, have hidden the phenomenon of "scattered and dirty" enterprises.
With the continuous supervision of air pollution prevention and control in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and surrounding areas, the Ministry of Environmental Protection reports the supervision of 28 inspection teams every day.
According to the Ministry of Environmental Protection, from the latest week (May 28 to June 3) inspection situation, "scattered pollution" enterprises illegal production phenomenon is still prominent, the inspection team found a total of 698 "scattered pollution" problem enterprises, accounting for 33.9% of the environmental problems. Among them, Dezhou City of Shandong Province, Zhengzhou City of Henan Province and Shijiazhuang City of Hebei Province found the most "scattered pollution" enterprises, respectively, 186, 99 and 77. Out of the list were 489 companies, accounting for 70.1 percent of the total number.
In last week's inspection, the inspection team of the Ministry of Environmental Protection found a number of new clusters of "scattered and dirty" enterprises. The ministry said 11 "scattered and dirty" metal processing enterprises were found in Fengrun district of Tangshan, Hebei province, all of which failed to go through environmental protection procedures, were not equipped with waste gas collection and treatment facilities, and were seriously discharged in an unorganized manner by open-air cutting and painting. In Fangshunqiao village, Fangshunqiao Town, Mancheng district, Baoding City, Hebei province, it was found that 35 "scattered pollution" enterprises cluster for plastic recycling and processing and waste aluminum recycling and melting processing, all of which have no environmental protection treatment facilities, exhaust gas is discharged directly and sewage is flowing across the river. 12 wood processing enterprises were found along the S315 line of Xiaowang Village - Kong Town, Yang 'an Town, Leling City, Dezhou City, Shandong Province. During the on-site inspection, they were all in production, peeling and sawing facilities were operating in the open air, there was no supporting the construction of pollution prevention and control facilities, and dust emission was serious. Youfang Li Village, Ningjin County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, found 17 "scattered pollution" clusters of casting processing points, all without environmental protection procedures, are in open air production, the furnace has not been dismantled, the dust removal facilities are not operating normally, and the unorganized emissions are serious. In addition, more than 500 wood processing enterprises were found along the road in Zhuangzhai Town, Caoxian County, Heze City, Shandong Province. In Qindian Village, Yucheng City, Dezhou City, there are more than 20 "scattered pollution" enterprises, such as casting, fertilizer production workshops, plastic pipe manufacturing, sand material and cinder plants.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection pointed out that through inspection, some places have hidden the phenomenon of "scattered pollution" enterprises.
There are 17 wood processing enterprises in blacksmith village, Encheng Town, Pingyuan County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province. None of them have environmental protection procedures, water and power are not cut off, and production equipment, raw materials and products are not cleaned up. Only two of them are in the list of "scattered and polluted" enterprises reported by the local government. The other 15 are suspected of concealing their reports.
Wangtingfu Village, Duji Town, Ningjin County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, gathered more than 30 furniture processing and painting "scattered pollution" processing points. Ministry of Environmental Protection inspection team found that these enterprises are not supporting the construction of pollution prevention and control facilities, at the same time, only two in the local report of the "scattered pollution" enterprise list. The other 15 were suspected of underreporting.
The east and west sides of the Ningdong Road of Wang Yingwu Village, Guo Yingwu Village and Laojuntang village in Ningjin County, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, there are 32 "scattered and dirty" enterprise clusters mainly engaged in wood stubble processing and spray painting processing, and only 18 of them are in the list of "scattered and dirty" enterprises reported locally. The other 12 are suspected of concealing their reports.
Regarding the above problems, the ministry of Environmental Protection revealed that the relevant inspection team has been handed over to the local environmental protection department for further investigation and treatment.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection stressed that the "scattered pollution" enterprise rectification is the focus of the current period of strengthening supervision, hope that governments at all levels to fully invest, carefully investigate, with iron wrist, hard measures to rectify, seriously investigate the "scattered pollution" enterprises illegal production phenomenon, will not tolerate.
