In this regard, the Chinese Society of Food Science and Technology and related experts believe that paper cups and paper bowls do not need to add plasticizers, and the International Food Packaging Association is not scientific.
China Plastic Association Plastic technical Cooperation Committee Secretary General Yang Huidi said that at present China's main food paper plastic containers are made of food grade pulp paper and polyethylene (PE) extrusion, the PE particles used in the production process is pure PE material, without adding any chemical additives. The two raw materials sent for inspection by the packaging material manufacturer have passed the detection of plasticizer by relevant testing institutions, and 17 substances of plasticizer have not been detected. Have not been detected, there will be no plasticizer ingredients dissolved.
It is understood that China's "Health standard for the use of additives for food containers and packaging materials" (GB9685-2008) specifies the limits of the use of plasticizers such as dibutyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate and diisononyl phthalate in plastic packaging materials and its specific migration amount.
China Society of Food Science and Technology said that at present, China's food containers, packaging materials of the regular enterprises are strictly in accordance with this standard, China's main instant noodle production enterprises sent products are in line with the national standard requirements.
In order to prevent risks, when the plasticizer incident occurred in 2011, the relevant state departments according to the market sales ranking extracted 15 varieties of 1800 bags (boxes) of instant noodles samples, by 4 national testing institutions for parallel testing, the test results show that the plasticizer detected in the sample is lower than the national standard limit, all qualified.
Expert introduction, due to the wide range of use of plasticizers in modern industry and life, plasticizers exist widely in the air, water and soil environment, and they may be brought into food through food raw materials. If it is not maliciously added or transported into the packaging, the plasticizer detected in the food is generally brought into the environment, and the content is very low.
