Polypropylene high-strength yarn refers to polypropylene multifilament with a breaking strength greater than 6cN/dtex. It has the characteristics of low relative density, low hygroscopicity, high strength, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and low thermal conductivity.
Polypropylene high-strength yarn refers to polypropylene multifilament with a breaking strength greater than 6cN/dtex. It has the characteristics of low relative density, low hygroscopicity, high strength, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and low thermal conductivity. The two-step and one-step filament processes can be used. The two-step process has a higher breaking strength of 6~8cN/dtex, and the one-step process has a strength of about 5~7cN/dex, but its energy consumption is low. It is an important fiber raw material for industrial textiles, used for high-speed sewing thread, luggage straps, slings for sporting goods, geotextiles, ropes, nets and fishing gear.
