Syndiotactic polystyrene SPS is a new type of high-performance engineering plastic that came out in the mid-1980s. It has a melting point of up to 270буC and has excellent heat resistance, chemical and electrical properties. The comprehensive physical properties of SPS composite materials reinforced with glass fiber are comparable to other engineering plastics such as PET, PBT, PAG6, and PPS. Therefore, SPS is widely used in the automotive industry, film materials, photographic substrates, food containers, electronics/electrical appliances, etc.
