1, polyamide PA

Material properties

Molding characteristics

When the viscosity of the resin is small, the injection and cooling time should be long, and white oil should be used as a release agent;

2, polycarbonate (PC)

Material performance

High impact strength, good dimensional stability, colorless transparent, good coloring, electrical insulation, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, but poor self-lubrication, a tendency to stress cracking, high temperature easy hydrolysis, and other resin compatibility is poor.

Molding characteristics

1, amorphous material, good thermal stability, wide molding temperature range, poor fluidity. Small hygroscopic, but sensitive to water, must be dried. Forming shrinkage rate is small, easy to melt cracking and stress concentration, so should strictly control the forming conditions, plastic parts must be annealed;

2, the melting temperature is high, the viscosity is high, more than 200g plastic parts should use a heated extension nozzle;

3, the cooling speed is fast, the mold pouring system is rough and short as the principle, should be set up cold material well, the gate should be large, the mold should be heated;

4, the material temperature is too low will cause the lack of material, the plastic parts are lusterless, the material temperature is too high, the plastic parts are bubbling. When the mold temperature is low, the shrinkage rate, elongation, impact strength is high, and the bending, compressive and tensile strength is low. When the mold temperature exceeds 120 degrees, the plastic parts cool slowly and are easy to deform and stick to the mold.

3, POM POM

basic properties

weight: 1.41 to 1.43 g/cm&sup 3;

Material properties

Good comprehensive performance, high strength, high stiffness, good wear resistance, small water absorption, good dimensional stability, but poor thermal stability, easy to burn, easy to age in the atmosphere exposure.

Molding characteristics

4, polyphenylene ether PPO

material performance

3, MPPO is the modified material of PPO and HIPS blend, the materials on the market are this kind of material;

4, has a high heat resistance, glass transition temperature 211 degrees, melting point 268 degrees, heating to 330 degrees have a tendency to decompose, the higher the content of PPO the better the heat resistance, thermal deformation temperature can reach 190 degrees;

5, good flame retardancy, with self-interest, and HIPS mixed with medium flammability. Light weight, non-toxic can be used in food and drug industry. Poor light resistance, will change color when used in sunlight for a long time;

6, can be blended with ABS, HDPE, PPS, PA, HIPS, glass fiber, etc.

Molding characteristics

1, non-crystalline material, small moisture absorption;

2, poor fluidity, similar to Newtonian fluid, viscosity is more sensitive to temperature, product thickness is generally above 0.8mm. It is easy to decompose and produce corrosive gas when decomposed. The molding temperature should be strictly controlled, the mold should be heated, and the resistance of the pouring system to the material flow should be small;

3, the water absorption rate of polyphenyl ether is very low about 0.06%, but a trace of water will lead to the surface of the product silver wire and other non-smooth phenomenon, it is best to dry treatment, the temperature can not be higher than 150 degrees, otherwise the color will change;

4, the molding temperature of polyphenyl ether is 280-330 degrees, and the molding temperature of modified polyphenyl ether is 260-285 degrees.

5, thermoplastic polyester

Polyethylene terephthalate PET

Basic properties

Basic properties

Material properties

Basic properties

Molding characteristics

1, amorphous material, medium fluidity, large moisture absorption, must be fully dry, the surface requirements of glossy plastic parts must be preheated for a long time to dry 80-90 degrees, 3 hours;

2, suitable for high material temperature, high mold temperature, but the material temperature is too high and easy to decompose (decomposition temperature is > 270 degrees), for high precision plastic parts, mold temperature is suitable for 50-60 degrees, for high gloss, heat resistant plastic parts, mold temperature is suitable for 60-80 degrees;

3, if you need to solve the water pattern, it is necessary to improve the fluidity of the material, take high material temperature, high mold temperature, or change the water level and other methods;

Material properties

Material properties

4, in order to reduce the internal stress of injection molded products, the mold temperature should be controlled at 100-140 degrees. 11, poly aryl ether ketone PEAK

Poly aryl ether ketone (PEAK) is a kind of phenylene ring through the ether bond and carbonyl polymer. At present, there are mainly polyether ether ketone (PEEK), polyether ketone (PEK), polyether ether ketone (PEKK), polyether ether ketone (PEEKK) and polyether ether ketone (PEKEKK) and other varieties. The lower the ratio (E/K) of the ether bond to the keto group in the molecular chain, the higher the melting point and glass transition temperature of the PEEKK series varieties. The ether bond in the molecular structure of polyaryl ether ketone makes it flexible, so it can be molded by the processing method of thermoplastic engineering plastics.

13, liquid crystal polymer LCP

Liquid crystal polymer refers to the polymer material that can form a liquid crystal state under certain conditions, referred to as LCP, is one of the fastest developing new materials in recent years.
