On October 27, Shanghai Forum 2023 kicked off at the Shanghai International Convention Center. With the theme of "Inclusive Globalization: Asia's New Responsibility", the forum attracted experts and scholars from all over the world, including nearly 50% of the guests from overseas.

Focusing on the theme of the conference "Inclusive Globalization: Asia's New Responsibility", a number of guests from home and abroad delivered keynote speeches. The three-day forum focused on five major areas: "International economy, climate change and low-carbon transition, global development and governance, geopolitics, digital security and opening-up", with the opening ceremony, five sub-forums, 18 sub-forums and six high-end roundtables. More than 20 keynote reports were produced.

The Shanghai Forum attracted more than 2,000 people from home and abroad, and nearly 50% of the registered guests came from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea, Hungary and other countries. In addition, more than 20 international organizations, universities, think tanks and enterprises participated in the forum.

It is worth mentioning that the forum's commemorative canvas bags, carry bags and volunteer T-shirts are made of post-consumer PET plastic bottles, compared with conventional polyester fiber, in the production process can reduce 70% energy consumption, 75% carbon dioxide emissions, 86% water consumption. Through blockchain technology, the production process can be displayed on the two-dimensional code of the product, which aims to promote the realization of the two-carbon goal.
