Different! Crickets or grasshoppers? Insect vending machines appear in Japan
Do you dare to eat insects? Vending machines selling edible insects have popped up on the streets of Sanyoki, Saga Prefecture, according to Japan's NHK television. Customers can buy food made from 12 kinds of insects, including crickets and grasshoppers. The insect food comes in plastic jars priced at 1,000 yen (about 59 yuan) and contains 20 to 30 fried insects.
