On August 13th, the good news came from Lanzhou Petrochemical Company: The 300,000 tons/year polypropylene plant in the vinyl plant completed the first industrial trial production of high-end automotive materials product SP532, with a cumulative production of 757.1 tons of products and qualified product quality, marking the addition of new products in the sequence of polypropylene automotive materials of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company and new progress in the development of new products.

Polypropylene vehicle materials SP532 with high melt index, high impact strength, high bending modulus, low odor, low VOC "three high and two low" excellent performance, become the high-end product of vehicle materials. At the same time, compared with the same volume of automotive materials products SP532 and steel, the density is lower, the cost is lower, not only can reduce the cost of automobile manufacturing, but also can greatly reduce vehicle fuel consumption, reduce exhaust emissions.

Since 2008 for the first time to start SP179 test production, Lanzhou Petrochemical has developed car materials EP533N, SP531, SP18I, EP508N, EP408N, EP100N and other products, in the Preet, Jinfa, Huitong and other automobile modification manufacturing enterprises well received. In recent years, some of the products have been extended to large home appliance industries such as KePCO Group and Haier Group, and the output has increased to 100,000 tons/year.
