Plastic rains down in the Rocky Mountains of the United States! 90% of rainwater samples contain plastic particles
The U.S. Geological Survey recently released a report that 90 percent of rain samples collected in Rocky Mountain National Park were found to contain plastic fibers of various colors, and some could be seen through a microscope with beads and plastic fragments. Researchers believe that the plastic comes from garbage and synthetic clothing fibers, more than 90 percent of the plastic waste can not be reused, will break down into small particles into the atmosphere, and then fall with rain.
