Poland reveals wiretapping equipment inside US embassy in Warsaw
People's Net Warsaw, October 29 (reporter Li Zengwei) In the United States eavesdropping on its European Allies in the scandal is stirring up, Polish media recently also on the United States in the Polish capital Warsaw listening equipment was exposed.
According to Polish media reports, the United States has eavesdropping equipment in its embassies in more than 70 countries around the world, including 19 European countries, and Poland is among them. Poland's largest circulation newspaper Electo published a photo of the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw on its web portal on Monday, exposing the eavesdropping device installed on the top of the embassy. According to a Polish website called "Trust the Third Party", the eavesdropping device is rectangular in appearance and can be easily identified by its external panel. The panels are actually antennas, most of them made of special plastic, that both collect radio waves and prevent them from fading.
The "Trusted Third party" website also said that without a doubt, the easiest place for these eavesdropping devices to eavesdrop is less than 400 meters away from the Polish Parliament building, and the distance between the Polish Prime Minister's office and the U.S. Embassy is only about 2 kilometers.
