Rongxing Machinery, a national high-tech enterprise, is located in Xingli Science and Technology Park, Sanjiangkou Town, Hanjiang District. It was founded in 1993 and is a leading enterprise in Putian's motorcycle parts and accessories manufacturing industry.

"The layer of friction material on the shoe was independently developed by us, recognized by the Honda brand, and became the only supplier outside of Japan, making up for the shortcomings of China's brake friction materials." In the company's exhibition hall, Rongxing Machinery Manager Hu Yong pointed to a brake shoe and introduced that the core technology of brake accessories lies in the development of friction materials. After years of development, Rongxing has successfully developed high-performance friction materials, achieved import substitution and formed an integrated industrial chain from shoe body to friction materials, improved the Chinese and export sales system, and its variety, quality and scale are leading in China. It has become a supplier of brands such as Suzuki, Yamaha, Dachangjiang, Haojue, and Yadi, with an annual shipment of 13 million pieces.

As the founder of Rongxing Machinery Company, Wu Yurong, 71 years old this year, still maintains the habit of meeting with the technical team every week. "Keep improving" is the biggest impression of employees on Wu Yurong's management of the company, and it is also the foundation for Rongxing Machinery to maintain close cooperation with global buyers such as Honda for more than 20 years.

The key to improvement is technology, and the key to constant technical excellence is innovation.

The annual R&D investment accounts for 5%, with nearly 60 R&D personnel, 29 Chinese and foreign invention patents, and backed by technical teams such as the provincial enterprise technology center and the Fujian High-Performance Aluminum Alloy Die-Casting Technology Enterprise Engineering Technology Research Center, Rongxing has stepped on every key step of industrial upgrading.

In 2021, Rongxing began to deploy four-wheel brakes and entered the field of new energy vehicles. It has successfully won the cooperation order for the electronic control unit housing product of Hitachi Astemo, a supporting enterprise of Honda Automobile, and has continuously extended it to domestic vehicles, with an annual output value increase of 100 million yuan.

The Yuntu model currently on sale is exported to European countries, leading similar models. It is expected that in 2024, 2,500 K3 models will be exported to more than 10 countries including Spain and Italy, and 2,500 C5 models will be exported to more than 30 countries in Europe, Oceania, the Middle East and other regions, further expanding overseas market share.

The high-end equipment manufacturing industry is an important engine for Hanjiang to promote industrial transformation and upgrading and drive high-quality development. It is currently in a critical period of becoming bigger and stronger.

In April 2024, Wino CNC WN-DB2015Z×2 dynamic column double-sided milling and boring machining center won the highest award for domestic CNC machine tools - the Spring Swallow Award. "The machine tool can automatically and continuously perform various processes such as boring, drilling, milling, countersinking, and reaming. It is suitable for processing various parts with high precision, multiple processes, and complex shapes." Xu Bin, director of the project office of Wino CNC Company, introduced that this product is also China's first set of major technical equipment.

The first set of technical equipment is a landmark product of high-end equipment and a reflection of regional innovation capabilities. As a representative enterprise in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing in Hanjiang, Wino CNC continues to innovate in applications, with an average of four or five invention patents each year. Recently, the Putian Dehao Smart Manufacturing Valley project with a total investment of about 3.8 billion yuan was signed and settled in Hanjiang. It focuses on electronic information, high-end equipment, intelligent manufacturing, light manufacturing industries, etc., and plans to attract about 150 related companies to settle in the park, effectively connecting companies on the chain, and promoting the innovative development of Hanjiang's industrial agglomeration.
