The program focuses on the zodiac rabbit, explores the rabbit elements in traditional paintings and intangible cultural heritage, and uses New Year paintings as a carrier to tell the unique emotions of the Chinese people during the Spring Festival and their wonderful fate with rabbits. The two protagonists in the first episode of "New Year Paintings,Jade Rabbit Brings Fortune" are the Space Jade Rabbit from the Space New Team of the Space Cultural and Creative Center (CASCI) of the Seventh Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation and the Flying Moon Rabbit from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. They represent scientific and technological power and traditional culture respectively. The program will tell a unique story of the Year of the Rabbit through a competition on the first day of the Lunar New Year.
