WK Thomas launches hot and cold bowl takeout lunch boxes

British food service packaging maker WK Thomas has launched a range of bowl-shaped takeaway lunch boxes with hot and cold closures, aiming to give diners a more convenient takeaway dining experience.

The innovative product, named "Fusion", caters to the popular demand for takeaway bowls. The bowls are made of brown kraft paper or whiteboard and are available with a PET lid for refrigeration or a PP lid for heating.

According to WK Thomas, takeout bowls made with the choice of brown kraft paper material give the container a "unique craft effect and flavor" and are ideal for holding natural and organic foods. Meanwhile, carry-out bowls made of whiteboard are ideal for salads.

The new collection is available in four sizes, including: 500cc, 750cc, 1,000cc and 1,300cc. It is reported that the PE series of Fusion bowls are not only durable, more comfortable to feel, but also can be provided in a variety of printed colors, so that customers can maximize the brand effect, and thus enhance the product image.

WK Thomas adds that the bowl-shaped take-out lunch boxes and stackable LIDS maximize storage efficiency for food service operators.

WK Thomas Sales Director Des Thurgood said: "Fusion combines functionality and utility and helps create a unique product display image. With takeaways proliferating on the high street, both customers and food service operators are looking for something simple and unique."
