On the evening of March 30, Wanhua Chemical announced that starting from April 2022, Wanhua Chemical Group Co., LTD. China polymerization MDI listed price of 22800 yuan/ton (compared with March there is no change) : pure MDI listed price of 25800 yuan/ton (compared with March price down 1000 yuan/ton).

Data show that Wanhua Chemical Group Co., LTD., the predecessor of Yantai synthetic leather factory, was originally established in 1978, to undertake the construction of the first polyurethane industrial base in the history of modern industry in China. In 1980, Yantai Synthetic Leather Factory broke ground. In 1998, the joint-stock transformation was completed and Yantai Wanhua Polyurethane Co., LTD was established. On January 5, 2001, the company was officially listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In 2013, Yantai Wanhua Polyurethane Co., Ltd. was officially changed to Wanhua Chemical Group Co., LTD. The initial revenue of Wanhua was less than 600 million yuan, but after nearly 20 years of development, Wanhua has grown into the world's leading polyurethane enterprise with a revenue of more than 60 billion yuan, and has expanded its business to more than 10 countries and regions such as Europe, the United States and Japan with companies and offices.

Business is mainly divided into three parts: First, polyurethane business: covering MDI, TDI, polyether polyol and other polyurethane industry clusters; Second, petrochemical business: propylene and its downstream acrylic acid and ester, propylene oxide, currently under construction ethylene and its downstream LLDPE and ethylene oxide; Third, functional chemicals and materials business: mainly covers polycarbonate, SAP, water-based PUD, PA emulsion, TPU, ADI series and so on. Wanhua has a wide range of products and a wide range of applications.
