An important application field of TPE thermoplastic elastomers — Adhesive coated hard bonded component. TPE coating secondary injection molding process should pay attention to the following parameters:

1, the compatibility of TPE and hard cement components need to match, the molecular solubility is close, the molecular compatibility is better;

2, in the design should try to avoid sharp corners, in order to ensure that TPE and hard adhesive parts excellent contact, improve the bonding effect;

3, through the appropriate exhaust to avoid leaving gas in the mold cavity;

4, so that the thickness of TPE and the expected touch to achieve balance;

5, maintain the temperature of TPE melt to ensure the bonding effect;

6, TPE material packaging molding need to bake reprocessing, in order to reduce the surface of the product water lines, to obtain the effect of uniform surface color;

7, the selected master batch of the carrier resin and TPE and structural materials are compatible;

8, for the smooth surface to special treatment, the purpose is to increase the soft adhesive and hard adhesive bonding contact surface, strengthen the bonding effect;

9, TPE should have good fluidity, because the TPE coating thickness and size ratio is very small, TPE usually needs to flow through a long path and thin wall area to fill the mold.

10, the flow length/product thickness ratio of TPE is less than 150:1;

11, the use of good adhesives.
