Industrial enterprises are an important foundation and engine for cultivating new quality productivity. Statistics show that in the first half of this year, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in Zhejiang increased by 8.0 percent year-on-year. Among 38 industrial sectors, 30 saw their added value increase. The added value of automobiles, computers, communications, electronics, textiles, and chemical raw materials increased by 22.8 percent, 13.3 percent, 11.0 percent, and 10.7 percent, respectively.

Closely adhering to the "world-class and advanced nature", Zhejiang is vigorously promoting the construction of manufacturing clusters. The person in charge of Zhejiang Economy and Information Technology Department said that through the action of "supporting strong and excellent enterprises", the local government has coordinated and promoted the cultivation of high-tech enterprises, state-level specialized and special new "little giant" enterprises and world-class enterprises, and continued to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
