Long fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite material with warp and weft glass fiber surface layer and its forming method and application

The present invention relates to long fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite materials and their forming methods and applications. The composite material comprises a matrix and a surface layer. The matrix is a long fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite material, and the surface layer is a glass fiber felt surface layer impregnated with thermoplastic material. The surface layer is heated to a molten state and is molded and crosslinked with the same molten state matrix material. The manufacturing process involves heating the surface layer to a molten state and placing it into the mold cavity of the molding equipment. At the same time, the matrix thermoplastic material is uniformly mixed with fiberglass and transported to the mold cavity of the molding equipment, where it is placed above the molten fiberglass felt for molding. This process material can be applied to the manufacturing of building templates. The present invention improves the orderliness of the arrangement of long fibers used to enhance thermoplastic composite materials in the LFT-D process by setting a warp and weft distributed glass fiber felt on the surface layer and fusing it with the LFT-D matrix to form a whole. It is applied in the manufacturing of building templates and significantly improves the mechanical properties of pressed products.
