Features of vertical injection molding machine:
1. The injection device and the clamping device are on the same vertical center line, and the mold is opened and closed in the up and down direction. The floor space it occupies is only about half of that of a horizontal machine, so its productivity is about twice as high when converted into floor space.
2. Easy to achieve insert molding. Because the mold surface faces upward, it is easy to place and position the insert. By adopting a model with a fixed lower mold plate and a movable upper mold plate, it is easy to realize fully automatic insert molding by combining a belt conveyor device and a robot.
3. The weight of the mold is supported by the horizontal template for up and down opening and closing movements. The phenomenon of the template being unable to open and close due to the gravity of the mold, like the horizontal machine, will not occur. It is helpful to maintain the accuracy of machinery and molds for a long time.
4. Each plastic part cavity can be taken out by a simple robot, which is conducive to precision molding.
5. Generally, the surrounding of the clamping device is open, which is easy to configure various automation devices and is suitable for the automatic molding of complex and delicate products.
