Abe holds talks with Dutch Prime Minister Rutte, saying the two countries should work closely together

China news network January 10, according to Japanese media reports, local time on the evening of the 9th, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held talks with Dutch Prime Minister Rutte in Amsterdam.

After the talks began, Abe first said that "the Netherlands is an important partner of Japan", for the Group of 20 summit scheduled to be held in Japan for the first time in June this year, Abe said that he had issued an invitation to the Netherlands.

The two sides agreed that the two countries should work closely to promote free trade and innovation while balancing economic growth and eliminating the gap between the rich and the poor, and work together to tackle global issues such as ocean plastic waste pollution.

In view of the coming into force of the Japan-EU Economic Cooperation Agreement next month, the two sides also vowed to continue to strengthen economic relations between the two countries and jointly address issues such as agricultural development and aging societies.

On the issue of Brexit, the two sides agreed that it is important to avoid leaving the EU without consensus.
