Focusing on sustainable development, Bacardi participates in Hainan Consumer Goods Expo for the third time
Bacardi brought its series of fine wines to the Expo for the third time. A relevant person in charge of the booth said that Hainan is an excellent market to showcase and convey the brand story to Chinese travelers.
On the basis of last year's green and natural wind booth, Bacardi went one step further, retaining the original bothy bar aesthetic design at the same time, with the help of a large LED screen, to lead consumers to experience "a day in Scotland", at different times of the day to enjoy Scotland and the winery style.
Graf Josh GauravJoshi, Director of Global Travel Retail Asia Pacific at Bacardi, believes that Hainan is an excellent market to showcase and communicate the brand story to Chinese travelers, as well as an ideal shop window for the brand, and plans to continue long-term investment in this exciting travel retail region in the future.
As a family business with a history of 161 years, caring for the blue planet is a top priority and doing the right thing for future generations. The brand plans to eliminate all single-use plastic from gift wrap and point-of-sale promotional materials by the end of this year. Other environmental targets include cutting greenhouse gas emissions from production sites by 50 per cent by 2025, while plans are in place to cut water consumption by 25 per cent over the same period.
