In view of the long supply cycle of imported hydrogen press, high procurement costs, expensive spare parts and other "neck" problems, China began to conduct project research and development of major equipment localization of polypropylene vertical hydrogen press equipment from 2018.

After half a year of design and development, the test was successful on October 22, 2021, and reached the factory acceptance conditions, successfully broke the situation that the propylene unit hydrogen compressor has been monopolized by foreign companies for a long time, greatly improved the manufacturing capacity of China's hydrogen compressor, and effectively solved the problem of small vertical hydrogen compressor localization. It provides a strong guarantee for the equipment supply of Hainan Refinery and Chemical project of ethylene, and reduces the procurement cost of ethylene project equipment.
