Taiwanese man sued for urinating on roommate after being upset at him for talking on the phone in the middle of the night
China News network June 10, according to Taiwan's "United Daily News" reported that a Taiwan man surnamed Lin because of dissatisfaction with Chen roommate in the middle of the night to talk on the phone, with urine spilled roommate. Chen roommate angrily filed a complaint, the police investigated and sued Lin Nan.
The man surnamed Lin in his 50s was dissatisfied with Chen's roommate who lived on the same floor and often made noise in the middle of the night. He posted a notice on the door of his room saying, "Don't wash things from 1 am to 6:30 am. It is too noisy and will wake people up. However, Lin was woken up by his roommate talking on the phone in the common walkway in the middle of the night. Lin then splashed him with a plastic bottle containing urine.
After wiping the urine from his face, hair and body, Chen rushed to the police station and filed a complaint against Lin for public insult. When questioned by the District Attorney's Office, Lin denied the accusation, saying he only asked Chen not to speak and did not spill urine. However, the police testified that Chen smelled of urine when he reported the case, and the police also found a plastic bottle containing urine in Lin's room. Lin was indicted on October 10.
