August 31, the official website of BASF announced that the notice of temporary price increase of dispersions and resins in April and May will be permanently effective from September 1, of which the price of acrylic dispersions and styrene acrylic resins rose by 0.15 US dollars/pound (about 2138 yuan/ton); The price of styrene acrylic dispersion rose by $0.20 / pound (about 2849 yuan/ton). On this basis, a new price increase will be implemented in BASF's dispersions and resins business from September 15, or as permitted by the contract. If priced on a monthly basis, an additional increase of $0.03 per pound (about 428 yuan/ton) will be added each month on the previous month. At the same time, BASF will raise the price of Lupranate MDI products by $0.12 / lb as of October 1 or as permitted by the contract. In addition, imported resin products such as Basonat, Laromer, Sovermol, Luwipal, Lutonal and Larotac will be raised by 15 percent.
