A white polyester film and its preparation method, the white polyester film comprising a core layer and at least one surface layer. The core layer and the surface layer are obtained by co extrusion die extrusion and biaxial stretching process. The core layer is a white polyester layer, and the surface layer contains 70wt%~99.9wt% pure polyester, 0wt%~30wt% white masterbatch, and 0.1wt%~10wt% anti-static masterbatch. The white polyester film has long-lasting anti-static properties. The preparation method provided by the present invention has a simple process, and the anti-static layer of the obtained product does not peel off. The film surface still has good anti-static performance under high temperature and high humidity conditions, and the product is suitable for industries such as liquid crystal display and printing.
