Conductive polyethylene refers to a conductive composite material with polyethylene as the matrix material and conductive fillers.
Polyethylene is a common low-cost thermoplastic polymer material with good compatibility with carbon black. It is a widely used conductive matrix plastic. It is often compounded with a variety of conductive materials by melt mixing molding. The formed conductive composite is often used as an antistatic structural material. It can also be compounded with carbon fiber to enhance mechanical strength; when the amount of carbon fiber added reaches a certain level, the composite material also has good conductivity.
