PE recycled material

PE recycled materials are recycled polyethylene materials, generally in granular form. PE recycled materials can be used to make various plastic bags, stationery, buttons, zippers and other daily necessities, as well as various plastic construction tools, plastic doors and windows, and plaster buckets. They are also widely used in agriculture, such as making agricultural films, water pumps, agricultural machinery, fertilizer packaging bags and other agricultural tools. Using PE recycled materials to make plastic products can save resources and reduce solid waste pollution.

Performance

It has low density, and its strength, stiffness, hardness and heat resistance are better than low-pressure polyethylene, and can be used at around 100 degrees. It has good electrical properties and high-frequency insulation that is not affected by humidity, but becomes brittle at low temperatures, is not wear-resistant and is prone to aging.

In our daily lives, many supplies are inseparable from plastics. Here are some types and uses of plastics: The fiber contained in 10 750 ml bottles is enough for the inner filling of a ski jacket; in daily life, recycled particles can be used to make various plastic bags, buckets, basins, toys, furniture, stationery and other daily necessities and various plastic products. In the clothing industry, it can be used to make clothing, ties, buttons, and zippers. In the construction materials industry, it can be used to make various building components, construction tools, plastic doors and windows, and plaster buckets. In agriculture, it can be used to make agricultural films, water pipes, agricultural machinery, fertilizer packaging bags, and cement packaging bags. In the machinery industry, after special formulation, the recycled particles can be used to make machine parts, various forms of bearings, gears, cams, wheels, sealing rings, various blades, and various water pump impellers. In the chemical industry, it can be used to make reactors, pipelines, containers, pumps, valves, etc., and is used in chemical production sites to solve corrosion and wear. In addition, recycled particles are also widely used in the electrical industry and the telecommunications industry.

Classification

PE recycled material is also called polyethylene: PE is divided into three types:

High-pressure low-density polyethylene (LDPE)

Low-pressure high-density polyethylene (HDPE)

Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE)

High-low pressure composite

When not colored, it is milky white, translucent, waxy, and feels smooth to the touch. It is soft and tough and can be stretched slightly. Generally, LDPE is softer, HDPE is harder, and LLDPE is more viscous.

Application

Film is its main processed product, followed by sheets and coatings, bottles, cans, barrels and other hollow containers and other various injection and blow molding products, pipes and wires, insulation and sheathing of cables, etc., mainly used in packaging, agriculture and transportation departments.

LDPE (low-density polyethylene) garbage bags, trash cans, barrels agricultural films, packaging films, shopping bags

High-low pressure composites are generally used as press plates and various pipes.

LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) agricultural films, packaging films, cable insulation layers

Molding performance

1. Crystalline material, low hygroscopicity, prone to melt rupture, easy to decompose in long-term contact with hot metal.

2. Good fluidity, but large shrinkage range and shrinkage value, prone to shrinkage holes. Dents, deformation.

3. Fast cooling speed, the pouring system and cooling system should slowly dissipate heat, and pay attention to controlling the molding temperature. The material temperature is low and the directionality is obvious. It is especially obvious at low temperature and high pressure. When the mold temperature is lower than 50 degrees, the plastic parts are not smooth, and it is easy to produce poor welding and leaving marks. Warping and deformation are prone to occur above 90 degrees.

4. The wall thickness of the plastic must be uniform, avoid lack of glue and sharp corners to prevent stress concentration.

Identification method

1. Color: Anything that is transparent is better than anything that is not transparent, no matter what color it is.

2. Gloss: Good gloss is better than no gloss. The so-called gloss is what the material itself has, just like the color of a person's skin, which is the color of the surface of the material.

3. Smell: Light it with a lighter, blow it out after 3 seconds, smell its smoke, and distinguish it from the new material PE. It should be noted that some color powders have a strong smell, which will cover up part of the smell of PE recycled materials. Don't worry, there are other ways.

4. Wire drawing: After blowing out the fire, quickly touch the melt with an iron object, and then quickly pull it apart to see if the wire is formed evenly. If it is even, it is a good material. After pulling it several times, overlap the wires and pull it apart again to see if it is elastic and whether it can be pulled apart again without breaking. The material that is not broken or breaks after being pulled apart for a distance is a good material.

5. If the above cannot be confirmed, please burn it again. If black smoke quickly comes out or the melt drips quickly during the burning process, it is not a good material.

6. Bite with teeth: First experience the strength of the new PE recycled material yourself, and then compare it. If it is relatively soft, PE is definitely added in it.

7. Look at the cross section of the cut: The cross section is rough and dull, and the material quality is poor.

8. Floating in water: As long as there is sinking in water, it is bad. If you are still not sure about the above, or can't make up your mind, you can only test the machine.
