Plastic decorative board is a plastic board used for building decoration. The raw materials are resin board, surface paper and bottom paper, decorative paper, covering paper, demoulding paper, etc. After the surface paper, decorative paper, covering paper and bottom paper are impregnated with resin respectively, they are assembled after drying and hot pressed to form veneer decorative board.
Resin
The commonly used resins for plastic veneer decorative board are melamine resin, phenolic resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, unsaturated polyester resin, phthalate acrylate resin, guanoamine resin, etc. China currently mainly uses melamine resin and phenolic resin.
Surface paper and bottom paper
The surface paper is placed on the top layer of the decorative board. After being impregnated with resin and hot pressed, it has high transparency and hardness, and plays a role in protecting the surface of the decorative board. This kind of paper is thin, white, clean, and has high absorption performance.
The base paper is used as the base material of the decorative board to give the board a certain thickness and strength. It is an important material for manufacturing decorative boards, accounting for more than 80% of the paper volume. The ash content in the paper is low, and it is required to have high absorption performance and wet strength. Kraft paper without waterproofing agent is often used as the base paper.

Decorative paper
In the product structure, the decorative paper is placed under the surface paper, mainly to provide decorative patterns and cover to prevent the bottom glue from seeping through. Decorative paper requires a smooth surface, good absorption and adaptability, uniform color for the base color, and bright color for the color.
Cover paper
Sandwiched between the decorative paper and the base paper, it is used to cover the dark bottom layer and prevent the phenolic resin glue from penetrating the decorative paper. If the decorative paper has sufficient hiding power, the cover paper is not needed. The cover paper and the decorative paper are both titanium dioxide paper.
Release paper
The base paper is the same as the bottom paper, impregnated with oleic acid glue and placed under the bottom paper to prevent the phenolic resin glue from sticking to the aluminum plate during hot pressing. The aluminum pad can be covered with polypropylene film to save the release paper.
After the surface paper, decorative paper, cover paper and bottom paper are impregnated with resin respectively, they are dried and assembled, and then hot pressed to form a veneer decorative board.
Plastic veneer decorative board specifications are determined according to equipment conditions and uses. The common formats are as follows:
915¡Á915 mm (3¡Á3 feet; 915¡Á1830 mm (3¡Á6 feet); 915¡Á2135 mm (3¡Á7 feet); 1220¡Á1830 mm (4¡Á6 feet); 1220¡Á2440 mm (4¡Á8 feet); 1220¡Á3050 mm (4¡Á10 feet); 1220¡Á3660 mm (4¡Á12 feet); 1830¡Á3660 mm (6¡Á12 feet).

Thickness specifications: 0.5, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.4, 3.2, 4.8, 5.6, 6.4 mm. The thickness of the commonly used plastic veneer decorative board is 0.8-1.5 mm. According to the classification range of some countries, the thickness of 0.8-1.5 mm is a general product; the thickness of 2 mm or more is a special-purpose product or a double-faced decorative board; the decorative board or coil with a thickness of 0.5 mm is mainly used as an edge banding or curved surface adhesive material.

Except for thicker double-sided plastic veneer decorative panels which are sometimes used directly, plastic veneer decorative panels are generally pasted on other base materials for use. When producing plastic veneer decorative panels, some reinforcing materials such as glass fiber and metal are also added to increase their strength. In addition, molds are often used for molding to make embossed decorative panels with three-dimensional patterns.
Plastic veneer decorative panels are made of special base paper and resin. During the manufacturing process, they can imitate the patterns of various artificial and natural materials, such as mahogany, rosewood, ash, marble, malachite, orange peel, leather, fiber fabrics and other textures, or design other different patterns. Decoration The decorative panels are of various types, bright colors, strong decorative properties, and a wide range of applications.
Amino resin is used for the surface layer and decorative layer, and phenolic resin is used for the base layer, so the surface is hard, wear-resistant and heat-resistant. Moreover, this type of board has good water resistance, high density, good dimensional stability, and can resist corrosion from general acids, alkalis, greases and alcohol. The decorative panels are tough and can be bent into a certain arc, which is convenient for the decoration of curved surfaces and easy to glue with other materials. The decorative panels are characterized by light weight and high strength, with a static bending strength of more than 800kg/cm2 and a specific gravity of generally 1.0-1.4g/cm3, slightly heavier than water, and about 1/2 lighter than aluminum and about 3/4 lighter than steel. In terms of use, they can replace certain light metals and steels, such as vehicles, ships, and interior decoration. In terms of the number of metals and woods replaced, the durability of plastic decorative panels is better than that of coatings, and their service life can be extended by 4-5 times that of paints. They are simple to maintain, easy to clean, and have low maintenance costs.
The production process of plastic decorative panels is simple, the processing and molding are convenient, the labor productivity is high, and the value created is large.
Plastic Veneer Decorative Panels
Plastic Veneer Decorative Panels are also called plastic veneer panels. It is a decorative veneer material made of phenolic resin paper laminate as the base, and the surface is made of printed paper impregnated with melamine resin as the surface layer. It is made by hot pressing and can be covered on various substrates.
The pattern of plastic veneer panels is colorful, moisture-resistant, wear-resistant, burning-resistant, resistant to certain acids, alkalis, greases, alcohol and other solvents, smooth and bright, and easy to clean. Pasted on the surface of the board, it is more durable than wood and has a good decorative effect. It is a good material for saving high-quality wood. It is suitable for surface decoration of various building interiors, vehicles, ships, aircraft and furniture.

Organic glass sheet
Organic glass sheet, commonly known as organic glass. It is a thermoplastic plastic with excellent light transmittance. It is polymerized with methyl methacrylate as the main base material and initiators, plasticizers, etc.
Organic glass has excellent light transmittance, which can transmit 99% of light and 73.5% of ultraviolet rays; it has high mechanical strength; it has good heat resistance, cold resistance and weather resistance; it has good corrosion resistance and insulation; under certain conditions, it is dimensionally stable and easy to process.
The disadvantages of organic glass are that it is brittle, easily soluble in organic solvents, has a low surface hardness, and is easy to scratch.
Organic glass is mainly used as high-grade indoor decorative materials and special ceiling lamps or indoor partitions and transparent protective materials in construction.
