Polypropylene crude fiber

Polypropylene crude fiber is also called plastic steel fiber or imitation steel fiber. It is made of polypropylene and polyethylene as the main raw materials and refined through a special production process. It has a rough surface and a clear outline. It has good dispersibility and adhesion to the cement matrix. The product has both the functions of steel fiber and the advantages of synthetic fiber. It is mainly used to replace welded metal mesh and steel fiber in concrete panel structures.

Brief introduction

Polypropylene crude fiber is generally called plastic steel fiber in the industry. Polypropylene crude fiber is a high-strength fiber used in construction projects to control the toughness and impact resistance of concrete. It can replace traditional steel mesh and steel fiber, and the construction cost is more economical; it is time-saving and convenient to use and operate: it is a new type of concrete reinforcement material with broad application prospects. Plastic steel fiber is made of polypropylene modified polymer as the main raw material and is produced through special process technology. It is a kind of monofilament coarse fiber with rough surface and clear outline: different diameters, different fiber lengths, wavy shape, high tensile strength, large elastic modulus, strong acid and alkali resistance; it has the appearance of steel bars and steel fibers, the functions of steel bars and steel fibers, and the advantages of synthetic soft fibers. Product packaging: 5 kg large bag (standard packaging).

Used for pavement, curbs, ordinary concrete panels, bridge engineering floor, airport runways, aprons, concrete precast panels, pipes, various tunnel construction, roofs, parking lots, water conservancy projects, container terminals and various concrete buildings.

Construction suggestions

Dosage: 3-9kg per cubic meter of concrete

Length: 30mm-50mm for general crack prevention and reinforcement; 20-30mm when added to shotcrete.

Feeding and mixing process: First add crushed stone, then add plastic-steel fiber, then add sand and mix to fully disperse the plastic-steel fiber, then add cement and water according to the conventional process. It can also be constructed in the order of conventional process, but the mixing time should be appropriately extended so that the plastic-steel fiber is evenly dispersed.

Packaging: Conventional packaging is 1.0kg/bag, and can also be packaged according to user requirements.
